2025-07-10I cannot stress the importance of having the right attorney in your corner. No one fights for you in that corner more than Josh Macktaz. After having the worst morning of my life- a traffic issue being turned into two criminal charges and six traffic violations, My first thought was I can take care of it on my own. That was not an option now that I have a public professional career and two children. From the second I called Josh, a massive weight lifted off my shoulders. Josh kept me in the loop every step of the way and fought for me while I never had to step foot in a courthouse. Literally within weeks, the charges were dropped and removed. The traffic tribunal issues were all rescinded due to termination of the prostitution. Josh has the experience to know what It is like being in the shoes of all players in any type of case or charge. Just one of the reasons why having the wrong attorney could result in the wrong result for something you never did to begin with. I would recommend everyone has Josh ’s number saved in their phone. 2025-06-10Finding oneself in the position of being a wrongdoer is certainly nothing to be proud of and of course is grounds for shame and embarrassment. The feelings of seemingly being paralyzed with not knowing what to do or how to represent my character in a court of law after a singular and unfortunate act of irresponsibility are not to be desired. He managed to reduce the speeding ticket which brought the fine down, plus, he got the court costs waived completely! 2025-05-19Joshua Macktaz is the best lawyer out there, he was straightforward and got all my charges dropped, I had dealt with a corrupt cop who continually pulled me over and charged me with multiple possession’s and DUI, Josh was able to get all that dropped for me! He is fairly cheap a lot cheaper then most lawyers I’d say, and he is very knowledgeable, definitely knows what he is doing and isn’t some public defender who just try’s to get you to take a plea deal he will fight for you!

Thank you for all you have done. Outside of that I’m in Maine lol when I saw you the plan was North Carolina but I reconnected with the kids I abandoned 7 almost 8 years ago. I didn’t know how it would go when I did. I was taken aback at the overwhelming live and support and they asked me to come up here. I came on the 27th and am just really beside myself with how they just forgave me, missed me, have all these memories of me and can’t wait to meet their sister Skylar.

I could not have been happier with Josh as my criminal defense lawyer. I had never been arrested before and did not know what to expect. I was referred to Josh by a police officer friend of mine who had seen Josh in court. He made me feel much better on our first telephone call and then proceeded to have my criminal charges dismissed and expunged from my record. I am still not exactly sure how he did it!
