Breathalyzer Refusal and DUI in Lincoln RI
Lincoln police are called to the Twin River Casino for a report of an ejected male trying to regain access to the casino. When police arrive, they find Client standing outside the entrance to the casino with security. After an initial investigation, police ask Twin River security to check the videotape to see if Client drove to the casino. After checking the tape, security informs police that the Client did in fact drive to the casino. Police observe Client to have a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath, bloodshot and watery eyes, and mumbled speech. Client is unsteady on his feet and fails 3 field sobriety tests at the scene. Client is arrested for DUI and refuses to take a breathalyzer test at the station.
