Arrested for DUI in Warwick RI After Police Got a BOLO

Police Report:
Warwick Police get a BOLO (be on the lookout) for an erratic operator. Police go to the area of the call and observe Client’s vehicle stopped in the breakdown lane with the engine running. Police approach the driver’s side door and immediately detect a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath, severely bloodshot and watery eyes, and mumbled speech. Client has difficulty producing requested paperwork and upon stepping from the vehicle appears to be unsteady. Client refuses to take the field sobriety tests or the preliminary breath test. Back at the station Client agrees to take breathalyzer with results of .123 and .113.
