October 2013: Driving Under the Influence; Breathalyzer Refusal

Police Report:

An off-duty Newport cop is traveling behind Client’s vehicle and observes it to “be all over the road”. He contacts the Newport police who locate Client’s vehicle and witness the car run a stop sign. Police stop Client’s vehicle and observe Client to have a strong odor of alchohol, bloodshot/watery eyes and slurred speech. Client takes 3 field sobriety tests, and police find 12 empty beer cans in car along with a half-full bottle of vodka in the center console.

Criminal Case Result:

• Driving Under The Influence: REDUCED TO RECKLESS DRIVING WITH NO LOSS OF LICENSE
• Breathalyzer Refusal: DISMISSED WITH NO LOSS OF LICENSE
