Criminal Charges: Driving Under the Influence; Breathalyzer Refusal
Police Report: Charlestown Police receive a 911 call regarding an “erratic driver”, giving the description of Client’s vehicle to the police. After a brief search, police find Client standing outside of her car, pumping gas, at a gas station. Police approach and observe Client to have a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot and watery eyes and mumbled speech. Client took and failed 3 field-sobriety tests, and refused the Breathalyzer at the station.
Criminal Case Result:
- DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: REDUCED TO RECKLESS DRIVING WITH NO LOSS OF LICENSE
- BREATHALYZER REFUSAL: DISMISSED WITH NO LOSS OF LICENSE
